Where is demar dorsey now
Well, its look like Charlie Strong is going along with that recruiting theory as well. Strong received a commitment today from 5-star safety Demar Dorsey out of Florida. Dorsey is in the Class of and is likely to break into the Cards starting lineup right away. Dorsey is also likely to break into your car at some point on UL's campus.
That's because Dorsey has already been charged TWICE with felonies : robbery with a deadly weapon in acquitted and burglary in dismissed. Now normally, if somebody gets acquitted of something, I give them the benefit of the doubt. But are you seriously telling me a guy has been charged with robbery TWICE and both times the cops were wrong? Uh, I don't think so.
Nobody has that bad of luck unless you consistently put yourself in bad situations. On top of all that, Dorsey was slated to go to Michigan, but was declined admission even though he had been cleared by the NCAA. So basically, this guy is no Rhodes Scholar either.
Point being, UL has given us another reason to heckle them, especially if this guy does happen to get any interceptions against us. Frankly, he has stolen better. Rich Rodriguez defending Dorsey after Michigan signed him. They had been checking on my grades earlier in the year, and I was on top of it. Ever since Dorsey announced Michigan as the school he intends to play for, there has been controversy surrounding his past criminal record.
It should also be noted the second burglary occurred while Dorsey awaited trial for the first. Regardless of whether Dorsey committed these crimes or not, the University of Michigan offered him a spot on the team over six months ago.
In no way, shape, or form is it about his grades, which were questionable at the beginning of the year. According to his coach Mark James, Dorsey has a 2. In fact, if you go by rivals. Meaning, out of the top recruits in the entire Michigan class, Dorsey is either on par or in the top 50 percent in regard to G.
He said his review still is pending. Dorsey was forced to bide his time. He spent last year away from school and football, unsure if he needed to take the junior college route, while the NCAA reviewed his file.
