Which miss jessies product is best

Less is more of the curling custard for 3b hair. You made some good points there. I did a lookup on the topic and I want to say that I noticed almost all pros will agree with your opinion. The store is located on Marcus Garvey Blvd. The workers are really nice, and if you want some advice on what to do with your hair, I am sure they will know.

I have a very short relaxed hairstyle and I am seriously considering going natural. Basically I am sick and tired of being a slave to my hair and salons. Oh by the way…, my hair is kinky blk, very fine and soft. Do not use any product other than their Shampoo and Conditioner. After using the Curly Pudding, Silky Stretch, and Curly Meringue I found that my hair became extremely dry and brittle the following day.

It was weird, my hair stylist even commented on my hair being dry and asked what I was putting in it. But on a good not the Shampoo and Conditioner is magic in a bottle. My hair and I love that stuff!

Oh, and I have quite a bit of the curly meringue, silk stretch cream, and curly pudding left if someone wants to buy it at a lesser price of course. I purchased the curly pudding by Miss jessies…i am soooo and very disappointed. Yes it defines curls however, it leaves my hair dry, brittle, and crunchy! I just did the big chop on September 2, It was the most liberating thing I have ever done.

No more 6 weeks relaxer touch ups, sitting under the dryer for an hour, and damaging my hair with a scorching hot flat iron. My hair is already growing back healthy. I also use the Curlicious Whipped Cream which gives great curl definition without the crunchies.

I think that alot of people are using too much product, less is more. I have never tried Miss Jessies products, but I will say that the Curlicious line is fabulous!! No mineral oil, petrolatum, parabens, or any other chemicals are in their products. My stylist used it on my hair after she gave me the big chop, and it gives great hydration to tightly coiled hair and curl definition. Yes, people, good old tried and true back in the day Wave Nouveau works on dry, coarse hair like mine.

Thanks for the insight. I currently wear my hair curly using a wave nouveau. I want to do some different things with my hair as I move into a career and I think that Ms. Jessie is a great door to open me up. When I find a good product line I stick with it, so I have yet to use Ms. I do know that consistency is best and when it comes to a good product, dollar signs are not an option.

You get what you pay for!! I have been using Miss Jessies products for about 2 years…and I like the results. However, I liked Miss Jessies better and my hair is healthier and grows faster with Miss Jessies Butter Creme…it keeps my hair moisturized and I it prevents knotting of the ends.

I got a few jars passed down to me, as their primary customer was unsatisfied. First of all, the first ingredients are petroleum and fragrance in most of their products. It feels and smells like it! It makes everything greasy and smelly. I so agree with you. I noticed that there was a long list of chemical ingredients, interspersed with the natural stuff.

And the sweet greasy sticky coconut fragrance has been making me ill all day. Is this supposed to be a black-owned company? Very suspect. They charge exorbitant prices for cheap ingredients like mineral oil which they call parafinium liquidium on the jar, to mislead consumers.

Better results can be achieved with less expensive products that contain better ingredients, IMO. Shame on them!! Not just a scam but possible banking fraud. No excuses for me! I have a feeling their website is only to gather card info.. Just me but, just be careful, folks. I thank you for the article and I thank all for the comments.

I only saw the adverts today for the first whilst on the train. In case you like hiking, mountain climbing, or just traveling and camping out, then sleeping bags come in pretty handy. Sleeping bags are comfy readymade beds. Incredibly quick to set up. But note that not all sleeping bags are the identical. I tried it only because tradewithothers. I used it on both me and my daughters hair. We both have natural hair and it works really good.

Read below: DMDM hydantoin is an antimicrobial formaldehyde releaser preservative with the trade name Glydant. DMDM hydantoin is an organic compound belonging to a class of compounds known as hydantoins. It is used in the cosmetics industry and found in products like shampoos, hair conditioners, hair gels and skin care products. I had been struggling with a natural for 5 years and was ready for another change.

Supposedly no harmful chemicals-even claimed to be all natural My hair looked amazing all down my back for 2 months-until it began falling out. Like rotten cotton. Then I did my research way to late only to find out there is formaldehyde in these keratin treatments. My beautician cut my hair very short and I started all over with my natural. This time my kinks grew back in tighter coils. I vowed to never put another treatment on my hair.

I became alarmed when my coils began to lengthen. I knew from experience that was a chemical change. What was that? So I googled it and came up with the above description. Who are these women making products for sistahs who want to rock a natural, putting chemicals that straighten and weaken hair in their products?!

It consists of pleasant stuff. This is the right blog for everyone who wants to understand this topic. You realize a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you not that I actually will need to…HaHa. You definitely put a fresh spin on a subject which has been written about for years. Excellent stuff, just great! I have been using Baby Buttercreme for a few months now. Ever since, I have experienced knots and dryness. It also leaves a nasty build-up.

I could not understand why until a co-worker told me she had the same problem with Ms. Sorry but I can not continue to use this product any longer. I really want my hair to grow and be healthy. Unfortunately, I had just purchased another jar of it before I had spoken with my co-worker. I bought Ms. I sort of feel jipped on a We stumbled over here from a different web page and thought I should check things out.

I like what I see so i am just following you. I use all of Miss Jessie products and love them especially baby buttercream, curly pudding, jelly soft curls, leave in co dish, sweet back deep conditioner, and repair conditioner. The trick to using the Curly Pudding and the Jelly Soft Curls is to use baby butter cream or buttercream as a base before using curly pudding or jelly soft curls. Thanks for the great review. Just what I want to see. ON Valentine day. I got 2 big 16 ounce rapid recovery and sweet back conditioners for the price of one.

Follow on Facebook for updates. This product is wonderful for my 3c, fine, curly hair. Till today I still cannot find anything like it. I had thought I had 2 different hair textures. I got sooo many comments wearing this product. I have not had such a strong response since. I wish I could afford to stock up on this, because I would if I could. But, the Baby Buttermilk is on my Yes-list. This is a product I will always use! Not so sure about stretching a jar of Rapid Recovery, though. But is it worth it?

In my opinion, yes — I loved it the first time I tried it. Or the ladies of the Long […]. Your email address will not be published. Comments Great review bella. Hey, Do you think the butter creme is worth the try for locks. Oh wow, my friend sent me an email and I just wrote about this too!

Bella, I am glad you had good results with these products. It is well worth the bucks. Just use sparingly. Bella, I had the same issue with the Curly Pudding at first but what I have realized is that if I emulsify about a dime worth in my palms and scrunch it into my curls at the very end of my styling process it gives hold without crunch.

Bella, You have a captivating and wonderfully addictive site. I would highly recommend the baby buttercreme. I still use it to this day. My curly puff loves this stuff!

Great Review. I just love Happy Hair stories — thanks for sharing yours, D. I will share my comments on my recent visit with Miko when I have more time. MAra— Dayum, even the curly pudding has animal products??? Does Miss Jessie products work well on transitioning hair, or all natural?

I meant to ask does it only work on ALL natural hair? It occurs to me that a forum might be a good next move for this site…. Is this a product a man could use if he has short hair? Hey Al, I would say yes if you want a moisturized and defined look.

You can get the entire line at Target Stores, Gail. Bella, How do I find out what type of hair I have? Thank you! Well the Kinky Curly line is probably the only line of stuff that does it for me. I was wondering which product is good for thining hair?

Hi Mmako Did you manage to get hold of Miss Jessie products? I stay in SA and looking for this product Thanks. I will get another jar of the Curly Custard because it makes the hair look really shiny. I feel the same way. Looking for distributors ro retailers in Montreal. For the last few days, it's really started to feel like Spring here in New York City. Everyone is slowly pushing their Winter jackets to the back of the closet and dresses are making a great return.

Spring is in the air and it's got us all excited. But there's this little phrase we all know: 'April showers bring May flowers' and with April showers also brings our curl's worst nightmare: humidity. Nothing deserves a bigger side-eye than walking out the house with your twist strand twist popping only for you to look like a complete frizz ball by the time you get to work - even if you were only outside for Humidity is not a laughing matter when one is on the pursuit of fierceness.

In a perfect world, frizz would completely be eliminated. The scores from 0 to 10 are automatically scored by our AI Consumer Report tool based upon the data collected.
