Why does cw tv freeze

I'm watching a video on CWTV. Basic Troubleshooting for Chromecast The video keeps freezing or doesn't load while I'm using Chromecast.

There's video playing but no audio on while I'm using Chromecast. There's video playing but no audio on my Apple TV. Roku I'm getting a error message while trying to stream on my Roku player. Why not report it to your software people or engineers instead of repeating the same "let's format", "reinstall" or "maybe it's your internet" when it's obvious there is an issue since so many people are having the same problem including me!!!!

This is not just a problem on Firestick. This is a problem on all streaming devices because of the app and primarily the advertisers who intentionally stream their commercials at 4k regardless of if the device or bandwidth supports it. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this issue has caused. Beyond these troubleshooting steps suggested in this thread, there's nothing more we can do in the forums.

Please contact Amazon Support for further technical assistance. My CW app does the exact same thing. Freezes at commercials. I wrote the CW as well about this as well. No other apps have this issue, just the CW app. Our Toshiba fireTV works on some channels but on History channel it just hangs on the commercials. If it is due to commercials being 4K format, is there a way for me to disable commercials sent only at that speed.

Exact same thing here.. Did everything suggested and doesn't fix the issue.. Cw app is the only app that does this so as stated above its the app not the connection or anything else they have suggested doing to fix it.. Absolutely worthless to use the app when it takes hours to watch a show.. I too am having this exact same issue. I have completed every troubleshooting suggestion listed above yet the issue still occurs.

We've just about given up. I was having the buffering issue, so I decided to uninstall and reinstall app. Now, I get a " Connection Error: Sorry your request could not go through at this time. Please try again later" None of the other apps have any problem streaming, my connection shows as good and stable.
