In order to flip the Bundt cake over, place your tray directly on the top of the cake while holding the bottom, and flip it degrees. You may need two people: one to hold the cake and the plate that it is currently on, and the other to hold the new tray. This method works best when the cake is broken in just one place. You simply cut it out, decorate it as you do the rest of the cake, and either put it next to the rest of the cake on the serving platter or set it on its own plate.

If you put it on the platter next to the rest of the cake, place it stylistically to make it look as though you did it on purpose. What a great way to make someone in your home feel special! Finally, you can also slice the entire cake and either plate them all or leave them on the tray. Make the rest of the cake match the mistake, instead of the other way around.

The steam will help release the cake from the pan when you go to invert it. You can also use a rubber spatula to help release the cake from the sides. Refrain from using a knife, as this can tear up the exterior of the cake and scratch the lining of your bundt cake pan.

Another option is to take out your frustrations on your bundt cake by giving it a good bang. Lay a dish towel on the countertop, invert your pan and bang on the top and sides of the pan.

This can help to loosen up the cake from the walls of the pan. Last but not least, let gravity do its work. Once you've inverted your cake, let it sit for 10 minutes, and check on it again.

This gives the cake a chance to cool, contract, and slide out of the pan. If you've gone through all these steps, and you're still left with a damaged bundt cake, don't lose hope. You can still make a fabulous dessert out of a bundt cake that stuck to the pan. If your cake has minimal damage use an icing or a glaze to cover any perfections. This solution will look as good as it tastes! If you have crumbled bundt cake you can use the crumbled pieces to create another, equally delicious dessert that's great for feeding a crowd: trifle.

Trifle often calls for cubed pound cake, so you've already done the hard part. It ca neven depend on where you live. If you live in a very humid or hot climate there is a chance that your cake will not turn out the way you hoped even if you have followed the recipe word for word.

If your cake sticks and breaks in half when it is coming out of the pan or if it breaks apart, use icing or lemon curd to put the cake back together. This works best on a layer cake or on a cake that is frosted completely on the outside. If your cake has fallen but is otherwise fine, you can try leveling it. If the cake has dropped way too low to work with as a layer, do not worry, you can still use it as many different things such as ice cream topping, or as filling for homemade cake pops.

You can crumble the cake and mix it with frosting to make cake balls. Mix in store-bought or homemade frosting, adding just enough so the mixture comes together when squeezed.

Roll the mixture into balls, and then toss in coconut, sprinkles, or cocoa powder basically whatever you prefer. If there is no way to save the cake that has fallen apart, do not worry because you can make something that is eye-appealing and delicious.
